Food & Recipes
Here you can explore food and recipes from around the world. Half the fun of travel is tasting all the delicious foods from different cultures. And why not try to make some of those scrumptious foods at home too?
I have to balance my love for Italian food, Cajun food, and anything-fried food with the fact that I have prediabetes. At home, I (mostly) eat a low-carb and low-glycemic diet, but when I’m traveling, am I expected to not eat pasta in Italy, avoid shrimp and grits in the South, or not even try the croquettes in Spain?
Of course I’m going to eat some of the foods that are not included in my usual diet at home. But since I’m walking so much, I don’t have to worry about eating what I like while I’m traveling.
